I'm born into a typical middle-class family. I'm the eldest, with one brother and one sister. Both my parents are working professionals and from young, we were taught to always strive for the best in life. I have friends, lots of them but even though we were close, I still felt there's a barrier between us. My parents emphasized academic excellence and enhancing skills but never really taught us how to overcome anger, resolve conflicts, cope with disappointments and all the other emotions that we humans being faced. One of the wonders of the technical world is the internet. It is a usefull place to learn, explore and find something we need. I use the internet to find out about health, shopping bargains, maps, cliparts and even to book movie tickets. Through the internet information of any kind imagine can be shared. However this wonderful and powerful tool is also a place of abuse.Things that are illegal, morally corrupting and violent, can also be out there. We and our children are expose to everything out in the internet. Here I will recommend two free internet filtering software that will help make your (and your children's) internet experience safer.
K9 Web Protection
Naomi Both this software can be protected with a password. Brothers, if you are married let your wifes enter the password. There's no point protecting yourself from the internet when you also have the key to unprotect it. If you are not married, get another brother to key in the password for you (and offer to key in the password for his internet filter). However, no this is not 100% foolproof and some websites may still escape detection. No software is 100% foolproof. But it will at least minimize the exposure. Better safe than sorry. My name is Corrinne, I had a nickname called "Chilli Padi", seldom used in my family. I got this nickname because I used to be a very quick-tempered person. I got angry easily, and I was like a volcano in other people's eyes, especially my family members.Sometimes they will feel uneasy to talk to me when they see the changes in my emotion because they are scared of being scolded by me.
